Consultations
Another dimension of my work has been working with individuals and small groups and businesses to incorporate quilts in their image.
- I have served as a resource consultant for school projects from kindergarten through graduate level.
- I have worked with institutions like the Oregon School of Health Sciences' Ethics Center to incorporate the symbolism of a historic quilt in their mission.
- I have served as an consultant to the Hills Bank and Trust Company in Iowa City, Iowa to develop a quilt logo for use on their printed materials.
I
was project coordinator for the Oregon Trail Wagon Train Quilt. I was
the consultant and presenter for the Flagstaff, Arizona contemporary dance
company, "Canyon Movement Company."
Currently, I serve as the consultant for the Annual Quilt Show at the Milwaukie Center, a service for the Clackamas County Parks and Recreation Department. This show is becoming an important fixture for fundraising and community outreach for their programs.
