Our MissionWe are committed to providing our youths with positive experiences in a team-oriented sport. The game of lacrosse is a way for youths to learn valuable life lessons that allow them to grow into fine young adults. It is not our mission to try to develop every youngster into a college or professional level athlete.

We know that most of you don't know much about lacrosse, but you can learn along with your kids! Now, that is a really good family experience. Interested? Willing? 2010 Season Re-capWhat another fantastic season of lacrosse in Canby. Boys from 2nd through 12th grade and High School girls played this spring and all teams experienced great success. In total, over 110 youth played this spring! Check out www.oregonlax.com and www.laxnw.com for information about summer opportunities. Get your friends on-board now. Gear can be purchased through us at any time of the year and makes for some great gifts for birthdays, holidays, and other events.

We're Going to Continue to Grow our Girls Program...Last spring's girls experience was a HUGE success. We plan to offer real teams at the youth and high school level this spring. Contact Joan Flora and/or Tom O'Connor at tomo@canby.com for more information.
Get Your GearWe have worked a deal with Laxworld for gear starter sets. These gear sets include helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, elbow pads, stick, ball, and mouthpiece. Prices are: Gear can be ordered by emailing Curt Nelson with sizing information. Gear takes about 2 to 3 weeks to be received. No gear will be ordered until payment has been received. There is NO requirement to get your gear through us. If you prefer to get your own gear, that is fine. There may also be gear available from older players who have outgrown their stuff. Fourth Annual Youth Jamboree
What a wonderful event. We had 4 3rd/4th teams, 6 5th/6th teams and 10
7th/8th teams join us. Over 400 players and over 1000 onlookers joined us as
we used 5 fields around the Ackerman MS/Lee ES/Legacy Park area. The weather
was beautiful. Bigfoot, Chopstix, and Rhino Lacrosse were all there. It was a
veritable who's who of youth lacrosse in Oregon. Mark your calendars for May
14, 2011 for next spring's event. If we can negotiate fields, we may try to
expand the even even more.
Looking for SponsorsAre you interested in sponsoring our program? We have an exciting thing going already. However, as a startup program, there are lots of expenses. We have covered the "core" costs already, but we need more help. We want to acquire practice jerseys, extra sticks, more balls, and practice goals/targets. We would also like to attend an overnight tournament in some other area of the state. And, we would like to get a "team pride" item - something like a gear bag, a nice jacket, or sweats for everyone.
